I'm Madeline, the photographer behind Mitzi and Rose.

I want to take a moment to commend you for taking the time to prioritize photography for your event. There is great value in having intentional, professional documenting of special milestones, whether it be a party, baptism, shower, or other occasion. I'm honored you're here and hope to answer any questions.

WHAT TO EXPECT

If you are hosting an event, I believe your ability to be present and part of the picture should be priority number one.

I understand inviting someone to capture your milestones may be intimidating, and I want to reassure you I lead with kindness and respect.

I approach every single session with care and attention to the people I'm creating with and the environment we're in.

Before we meet, you can expect pre-session preparation. We can do a brief check-in about expectations before I arrive to be sure I know exactly what to prioritize during our time together.

I’ll give guidance and direction when appropriate, but wholeheartedly embrace organic moments and candid imagery.

THE PROCESS

Book Your Date

To reserve your date, a signed client agreement and non-refundable retainer of $200 must be received. This will be applied to your event package.

The balance is due one week before your event.

Enjoy The Event

Your celebratory occasion is going to be documented with intention, kindness, and care. You can be present and part of the picture for your celebration.

Receive Your Images

After our session, you'll receive an invitation within three weeks to view your proofing gallery. I will hand-edit each high-resolution image. All collections include light retouching and personal use licensing.

Pre-Event Consultation and Timeline Planning

Are there must-have shots? Would you prefer a mix of portraits and candid photography or all candids? We’ll do a brief pre-event check in by email or phone to make sure I know your priorities.

Early Arrival and Equipment Setup

I’m able to handle natural light and indoor event photography. I’ll coordinate with you to arrive appropriately for your venue so we catch all the magic from the start.

The Complete High-Resolution Digital Collection

20-40 images are guaranteed per hour of coverage

Continuous Storytelling Coverage

Whether your event is 50 minutes or 2 hours, you can relax knowing you don’t have to watch the clock too closely.

The Complete High-Resolution Digital Collection

You’ll receive an online full edited digital gallery after our session. It will include single image that meets my artistic standard.

Standard Travel

Within 50 miles of Huntington, Long Island, NY

If your event exceeds two hours, additional coverage may be added for $350/hour.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

If your event is outdoors and the weather looks questionable, we will keep in touch to discuss if you’re moving indoors or need to reschedule. If you provide 24 hours notice of reschedule you have the option for a one-time transfer of your deposit with no extra fee.

Yes, absolutely. We’ll chat in our pre-session check-in about the exact location and timing of your event.
I deeply and sincerely believe that every person I photograph is beautiful and that beauty is meant to be honored, not altered. I want you to trust the images you receive. That said, I do not offer retouching such as body modifications or face swapping. I will deliver retouched images with subtle adjustments like image sharpening and a reduction in temporary blemishes.
Yes, your final gallery is connected to an online store where you may choose from a selections of prints, albums, and products printed by some of the highest quality print labs in the country.
