I want to take a moment to commend you for taking the time to prioritize a headshot session. I truly believe your future self will thank you for seeing the value in making this investment. I'm honored you're here and hope to answer any questions you have.
When I pick up my camera for our session, my goal is to create a space where play, openness, joy, and spontaneity can join us. In part, because the more fun you're having the more fun your images are, and partly because it’s my sincere hope that the session ends up being a fond memory.

WHAT TO EXPECT
You can expect pre-session preparation. At the end of this page you’ll have the option to answer a pre-session questionnaire and add any files or mood boards for review. We'll discuss your vision, your specific goals with the images, and how we'll structure the session on the day.
I approach every single session with care and attention to the people I'm creating with and the vision we've outlined to make sure we capture you at your best.
I lead with kindness and respect, and view this as a highly collaborative process that should feel fun!
Before, during, and after our session you'll receive support every step of the way. I’m here to help craft your Headshot Session so it feels just right.
THE PROCESS
Book your Date
To reserve your date, a signed client agreement and non-refundable retainer of $150 must be completed. These secure your date and include pre-session planning and up to 90 minutes of session time.
This non-refundable retainer is separate from your collections purchase, detailed below.
No digital images or print credits are included in the non-refundable retainer.
Enjoy Your Session
A photo session is a special occasion. We’re going to document it with intention, kindness, and care and I hope a few laughs too. Our outdoor, natural light sessions begin approximately two hours before sunset at a location we choose together.
Receive Your Images
After our session, you'll receive an invitation within seven (7) business days to view your unedited images in an online proofing gallery.
Choose A Collection
Once you’ve had the opportunity to view your images, you choose the Session Collection that best suits your needs.
Once your collection is selected and your invoice is completed, I will hand-edit each image. All collections include light retouching and personal use licensing.
Your final gallery will be delivered within 2 weeks of submitting your completed selections and completed invoice payment.
THE SESSION COLLECTIONS
After years of serving individuals with a variety of needs and budgets, I've created a pricing structure that allows you to select exactly what you love, and choose only your favorites for purchase after our session.
You'll receive a proofing gallery after our session and then decide which package of images you would like to purchase.
This is thoughtfully designed to ensure you leave the experience with digital files for sharing and personal printing, as well as access to the highest quality keepsakes for display and archival purposes, if you choose.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

A signed client agreement and payment of a $150 non-refundable retainer secures your session date.

On average, sessions last 50 minutes. However, I offer up to 90 minutes of session time so that optional wardrobe or location changes can be accommodated at a reasonable pace without feeling rushed.

You may choose to do as many outfit and location changes as you’d like within our 90 minutes of session time.

I’ll keep in touch if the weather preceding our shoot looks questionable, and if it does you have the option to reschedule with no extra fees by providing 24 hours notice.

We can absolutely discuss this option. If you own the space you'd like to have the session at we can meet there for our session. If you'd like to use a rented studio space, a rental would need to be reserved and will incur additional fees paid by the client.

Definitely. I'm available to give feedback if you’re feeling stuck. You can bring options to your shoot as well. We’ll make sure you look and feel amazing.

After our session, you'll receive an invitation to view your unedited images in an online proofing gallery within 7 business days.
From there, you have a week to select Session Collection for purchase and choose your favorites. You can expect your hand-edited, final gallery in 2 weeks.

I deeply and sincerely believe that every person I photograph is beautiful and that beauty is meant to be honored, not altered. I want you to trust the images you receive. That said, I do not offer retouching such as body modifications or face swapping. I will deliver retouched images with subtle adjustments like image sharpening and a reduction in temporary blemishes.

Yes. Please inquire about a custom quote and tell me about your unique scenario.

If the session is for a minor, a parent or guardian must be present for the session. If you’re coming alone, generally having an additional person in the mix can be distracting. However, you know yourself best and if you feel it’s important to you to bring someone along I just ask that you please touch base with me about it ahead of time.
